This dark roasted coffee comes from a cooperative named COOPAC and it is located near Lake Kivu on the steep slopes of volcanic mountains in Rwanda. These producers grow coffee in volcanic soil, harvesting cherry and delivering them the same day to the Kabrizi Washing Station for purchasing.  This region produces coffee that has a savory, sweet taste of caramelized sugar and chocolate mixed with floral, fruity tones.  The cup has a medium body and bright, fruity acidity to round it all off.

Cupping Notes: "Fruity with milk chocolate, melon, and floral flavors; sweet with fruit acidity and a smooth mouthfeel. "
