Welcome to Twin Pikes Roastery, where we are more than just a coffee company. We have a story to tell you, a story about breaking free from the chains of a beverage monopolization while embracing the true essence of the best of the American spirit.

In a world dominated by large corporations and morally bankrupt brands, we stand as a small business with a big mission. Our goal is simple – to disrupt the anticompetitive stranglehold imposed by ideologues in their products. We believe that the future lies in aligning our needs and consumption of goods in a less centralized manner, just like the vast agricultural prowess of the Midwest that feeds a great deal of the world, we seek to feed the minds and hearts of those who we have the fortunate opportunity to serve. Coffee has brought cultures and peoples together since it migrated from Africa to Europe and of course to the great land to the West. From the laborer to the student, from the breakroom to the hotel room, and from the hearth to the press, whether pumped under pressure or dripped patiently, coffee has enriched the lives of billions of our collective neighbors for centuries. But just because it is popular and indeed everywhere, one might say it is as Catholic (universal) as soccer--it should not be used to divide us. We have learned from those mighty brands from this very region who think novelty sells. No, the majority of Americans reject extremes, especially when the very items used in life are platforms for cultural demise.

Pope Saint Gregory the Great

He that has a talent, let him see that he hides it not; he that has abundance, let him quicken himself to mercy and generosity; he that has art and skill, let him do his best to share the use and the utility hereof with his neighbor.

Our story begins at a Farmer's Market in the heart of conservative St. Charles, Missouri in 2016. It was there that our founder discovered the power of local, handcrafted products and the thriving community that supports them. Inspired by this, he embarked on a mission to bring the same sense of pride and craftsmanship to the world of coffee and beverages.

Why buy coffee roasted in Missouri, you may ask? As a consumer, you have a plethora of choices in the multi-billion dollar beverage industry. But we believe that there is something special about coffee roasted right here in Louisiana, Missouri – a town located within 100 miles of the convergence of two great American rivers. But it's not just about our location. Our proximity to the historically rich gem of the Midwest, St. Louis, adds to our story. We are proud to be a part of this region's fascinating history and cultural heritage. Our roastery symbolizes a bygone era, where true conservation and appreciation for quality were the norms. The very name itself came from the land that surrounds us; Louisiana, Missouri is in Pike County, MO, and directly across the Muddy Miss' is Pike County, Illinois.

In the spirit of true conservation, we pay tribute to a former historical neighbor from nearby Bowling Green, Missouri; The Honorable Champ Clark, a United States Speaker of the House who opposed the creation of the Federal Reserve. We seek to build relationships one at a time and strive to escape the rampant commercialization of something as precious as coffee but as common as the ever-thinning, U.S. $1. Champ Clark was a servant of the people who opposed the sort of consolidation of power that his onetime opponent Woodrow Wilson imposed and under which we still live. We want you to know that we abide by the God-given idea that we can take care of ourselves with as little outside interference as possible. This is the hallmark of the pioneer and American spirit. The concept which we want to impart is that of subsidiarity. It is the reason you change your own car's oil, plant a garden, educate your children at home, or grind beans yourself. From that farm in Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, Africa, or the foothills of the Andes, our products break that corporate control model which we have collectively suffered under especially since 2008. It is a resounding no to corporatocracy. Our logo is representative of our region but also a symbol of the nobility of service; the fleur de lis is an unapologetic emblem of our religion as it represents the Trinity. We have placed our endeavors under the mantle of the Queen of the Americas; the great Mother of our Savior. It is fitting that a small town within an hour of the "Rome of the West" is the location of our work.

At Twin Pikes Roastery, we go the extra mile to source the finest coffee beans from around the world. Our expert roasters then work their magic, carefully and passionately crafting each batch to perfection. The result is a cup of coffee that embodies the rich flavors, aromas, and traditions of coffee-making at its finest. But beyond great coffee, we believe that the true essence of Twin Pikes Roastery lies in the connections we foster, the relationships we build, and the impact we make on the local communities. By supporting us, you are not just buying a cup of coffee, but you are joining a movement to empower small businesses, celebrate craftsmanship, and embrace the beauty of decentralization. Help your neighbor, not a billionaire!

So, come on this journey with us. Take a sip of our handcrafted coffee and experience the difference that true dedication, passion, and a commitment to breaking free from commercialization can make. Together, let's savor the rich flavors of tradition and build a better, more sustainable future for coffee lovers everywhere. Welcome to Twin Pikes Roastery – where coffee meets common sense.
